Richard
Bélanger
Richard Bélanger is a senior consultant who has significant experience in high-level management, including more than 20 years in executive recruitment.
His background as a corporate executive, as well as team manager and builder makes him an experienced corporate partner whose vision and analytical skills can lead to the development of a proven strategy for human capital building.
In 1999, in Toronto, Richard Bélanger launched his executive recruitment company called Richard Bélanger & Associates. He then opened an office in Montreal in 2001. He has worked on more than 350 mandates for small and medium-sized businesses as well as multinational companies in nearly all sectors and industries.
Prior to this, he was President of a large retailer and distributor subsidiary with more than 800 employees. He also held various high-level positions as part of the Management Team of this Canadian consumer products leader.
In 2013, he joined Leaders international, a firm specialized in the recruitment of Board of Directors, leadership succession and executive level positions.
The international network to which the firm belongs having offices throughout the country, Richard Bélanger is able to share his wealth of experience of the employment world, its issues and challenges, both nationally and internationally.
Richard was Vice-President of the RCMP Foundation's Board of Directors as well as President of Magog Technopole's Board of Directors.
Understanding the issues surrounding corporate succession, the added value of retaining personnel and the importance of developing a solid and sustainable network of contacts is, according to Richard, important for all workplace stakeholders.
